【活動】VILL平台引領AI時代英語教學新趨勢 Wenzao International College Leads the New Trend of AI-Enhanced English Teaching through the VILL Platform

Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages has been actively promoting the integration of AI into English and professional field instruction. On September 25, the university participated in the “AI Highlights and Talent Exchange in Southern Taiwan” event at National Cheng Kung University, showcasing its innovative achievement—the Virtual Immersive Language Laboratory (VILL) developed through AI and AR technologies.

At the event, Dr. Chang Hui-Hsiang, Director of the English Teaching Center under the International College, together with Professor Chen Hung-Yu, the project leader, and her team, introduced the VILL platform. The system integrates AI conversational bots with AR interactive features, transforming teacher-created materials into intelligent digital content that provides instant and personalized feedback, effectively enhancing students’ language performance and intercultural communication skills.

This achievement exemplifies Wenzao’s commitment to cross-national collaboration and educational innovation. Moving forward, the university will continue to advance the application of AI in EMI and ESP courses to cultivate globally competitive bilingual talents.
