 Unveiling the Secrets of  Cultivation of Semiconductor Industry Talents: Wenzaorian Team Visits TSMC's NTC

Representatives from Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (WZU) led by the president and vice president accompanied by the dean of CICEFA, and director of CDC, visited TSMC's Newcomer Training Center (NTC) in Taichung, on Dec. 8th to witness TSMC's commitment to enhancing equipment for newcomers, ensuring it is user-friendly and fostering a fearless approach among trainees.

The improvements of all facilities re-made by TSMC aim to facilitate a smooth learning curve, enabling trainees to comprehend processes easily and overcome any apprehensions they might have. The focus is on not only imparting knowledge but also instilling confidence in the recruits.

NTC’s instructors were praised for their effective teaching methods, employing vivid metaphors to simplify complex concepts. For instance, they likened the delicate handling of wafers to preserving perishable items and drew parallels with familiar objects like claw machines and hairdryers. These relatable examples made the training materials easily digestible for teams of WZU, leaving them with a sense of clarity and understanding.

Furthermore, discussions ensued regarding potential future collaborations, indicating a positive outlook for enhanced communication and cooperation between NTC and WZU. This visit has not only deepened our understanding of TSMC's training facilities and program but has also paved the way for continuous interaction.
