【活動】教師社群研習 : AI輔助語言教學分享會 AI-Driven EMI Teaching Community: AI-Assisted Language Teaching Workshop

The teacher community “113-2 AI-Driven EMI Teaching Community,” co-organized by the International College and the English Language Teaching Center, held two insightful teaching workshops on April 10 and April 17, 2025, in classroom Z1308. The events featured freelance writer Mr. Su Chin, who led two sessions titled “AI-Assisted Professional Language Teaching Workshop I: Cross-Language AI Voice and Video Teaching Materials Implementation” and “ AI Tools for Language Teaching—NotebookLM Application and Practice.”

 

In the first session on April 10, Mr. Su introduced various text-to-speech AI tools, including 123apps, TTSMaker, and CoolEnglish, explaining their functionalities and potential in language teaching. He also demonstrated how to use precise ChatGPT prompts to convert students’ handwritten texts into editable digital text, improving handwriting recognition efficiency for correction, speech conversion, and instructional use. Teachers also had hands-on practice uploading student audio recordings to AI platforms for oral proficiency analysis and evaluation, enhancing the immediacy and accuracy of teaching feedback.

 

The second session on April 17 focused on the practical applications of NotebookLM. Mr. Su guided participants from the basics of using a single notebook to collaborative and multi-task note integration. He demonstrated how to utilize NotebookLM for data organization, cross-file associations, and knowledge extraction. The workshop also showcased how to integrate other AI tools to create efficient workflows for preparing teaching materials, thereby streamlining lesson planning, research, and administrative tasks.

 

Through these two sessions, participating teachers gained hands-on experience with AI tools in language and EMI teaching. In the first session, they learned to improve the efficiency of listening and speaking instruction and feedback using AI speech technologies. In the second session, they enhanced their skills in data organization and course planning through the integration of NotebookLM and other AI applications. Overall, the workshops not only broadened teachers’ understanding of AI tools but also allowed them to experience firsthand how AI can empower teaching practices and professional growth, injecting greater innovation and potential into future teaching.

 

  由國際學院及英語教學中心共同主辦之教師社群「113-2 AI驅動EMI教學社群」,於2025410日及417日分別在Z1308教室舉辦兩場精彩的教學分享會。此次活動特別邀請自由作家蘇秦老師,分別以「AI輔助專業語言教學實作研習 (I):跨語種AI語音與影片教材實作」以及「AI輔助專業語言教學實作研習 (II):語文教學的AI利器—NotebookLM應用實作」為主題進行深入交流與實作指導。
 

  在410日的第一場次中,蘇秦老師介紹了多款文字轉語音的AI工具,包括123appsTTSMakerCoolEnglish,說明其操作方式與在語言教學上的應用潛力。此外,也展示了如何運用精確的ChatGPT提示語,將學生的手寫文章轉換為可編輯文字,藉此改善手寫辨識的效率,進一步進行批改、語音轉換,甚至作為教學素材。老師們也實際操作將學生錄音上傳至AI平台,以進行口語能力分析與評估,提升教學回饋的即時性與精準度。
 

  於417日的第二場次中,焦點轉向NotebookLM的實務應用。蘇秦老師帶領老師們從基礎單一記事本的使用,到多人協作與多工筆記的整合,介紹如何透過NotebookLM進行資料統整、跨檔案關聯與知識擷取。活動中也示範如何結合其他AI工具,打造高效率的教學資料整理流程與備課方式,讓教師在備課、研究或行政工作上更加得心應手。
 

  透過本次兩場次的分享與實作活動,參與的教師們深入體驗並掌握了AI工具在語言與EMI教學中的應用方式。在第一場次中,老師們學會利用AI語音轉換與語音辨識技術,改善聽說教學與作業回饋效率;在第二場次中,則透過NotebookLM與多項AI應用的整合,提升資料整理與課程規劃的效率與精準性。整體而言,教師們不僅拓展了對AI工具的認識,更實際體驗到AI在教學實務與自我成長上的強大助力,為未來教學注入更多創新與可能性。(04-10:13/5, 04-17:17/4.9)
