Be the Change: Sharing Innovative Teaching Practices by the Faculty國際學院教師創新課程分享

The forum on innovative curriculum implementation for the second semester of the 112th academic year was held on the afternoon of October 9, with six faculty members sharing their experiences. Among them, three teachers from the College presented their innovative teaching methods.

Ms. Hui-Chuan Wang from the Department of Interpreting and Translation explored how art can be integrated into interpretation courses, using various forms of art to enhance students' interpreting skills and foster creativity in language conversion. Ms. Ya-Ting Chang from the English Learning Center introduced how inquiry-based learning can effectively incorporate SDG topics into English courses, emphasizing student autonomy and problem-solving skills. The forum also featured a display of students' tri-fold brochures showcasing their course projects. Ms. Shao-Tzu Wu from the Department of International Affairs discussed how the use of AI technology revitalized the economics curriculum, engaging students through storytelling and relatable life experiences, such as comparing prices on Shopee, to increase their interest and motivation.

This forum highlighted the proactive efforts of the College faculty in exploring innovative teaching practices. From interdisciplinary integration to the application of technology, their experiences provided valuable insights that contributed to enhancing the quality of education.

112學年度第二學期創新課程執行分享論壇於10月9日下午舉行，來自不同學院的六位老師分享了各自的創新課程經驗，其中國際學院有三位老師帶來了精彩的教學創新案例。

翻譯系的王慧娟老師探討了如何將藝術融入口譯課程，透過不同藝術形式的應用，幫助學生提升口譯技巧，並激發他們在語言轉換中的創造力。英語教學中心的張雅婷老師則分享了如何運用探究式教學法，將SDGs議題有效結合進英文課程中，強調學生的自主學習與實際問題解決能力。現場還展示了學生作品的三折頁展板，讓與會者更直觀地了解課程成果。國際事務系的吳紹慈老師則著重介紹了AI技術在經濟學課程中的應用，通過故事創作及生活經驗案例（如蝦皮商場的價格比較）來增強學生的學習興趣，讓課堂更加生動且貼近生活。

本次論壇充分展示了國際學院教師在創新教學上的積極探索，從跨學科融合到科技應用，這些經驗為教學帶來了豐富的靈感，並有效促進了課程質量的提升。
