EMI教學的共向與岐向】專書徵稿

(Call for Book Chapters) Convergences and Divergences of English Medium Instruction (EMI) Teaching

因應全球化與國際化的趨勢,政府致力於提升國民英語能力,以2030年為目標,將台灣打造為雙語國家,培育雙語專業人才,中小學因而常見CLIL (Content and Language Integrative Learning)教學,而於大學則專注於「英語授課」(English as a Medium of Instruction)。文藻外語大學國際文教暨涉外事務學院暫定於11310月出版「EMI教學的共向與岐向」專書。希冀探討英語做為教學媒介(EMI)的共通點與差異處。歡迎各地的教育界專家、學者和實踐者分享EMI教學領域以及其他跨領域的研究成果、教學方法和案例,期待能促進EMI教育的共同發展。

 

In response to the trends of globalization and internationalization, the Taiwan government is dedicated to enhancing the English proficiency of its citizens. With the goal set for 2030, Taiwan aims to become a bilingual nation and nurture bilingual professionals. Consequently, Content and Language Integrative Learning (CLIL) has become common in primary and secondary education, while universities have focused on "English as a Medium of Instruction" (EMI) as a specialization. The College of International Culture, Education, and Foreign Affairs at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages plans to publish a refereed book, titled “Convergence and Divergence in English Medium Instruction (EMI) Instruction" tentatively in October 2024. It is hoped to explore the commonalities and differences in English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI). Experts, scholars, and practitioners from the education sector are more than welcomed to share their research findings, teaching methodologies, and case studies in the field of EMI and other interdisciplinary areas. We look forward to fostering the collective development of EMI education.

【投稿資訊 Submission

  1. 論文可以中文或英文撰寫。論文標題及摘要請提供中英文版,摘要請列出三至五個關鍵字。Paper can be written in either Chinese or English. Please provide both Chinese and English versions for the title and abstract, along with three to five keywords for the abstract.

a. 英文書寫,則於全文最後提供中文標題、中文摘要與中文關鍵字 (3-5) If it is written in English, please provide the Chinese title, Chinese abstract, and Chinese keywords (3-5) at the end of the entire text.

b. 中文書寫,則於全文最後提供英文標題、英文摘要與英文關鍵字 (3-5) If it is written in Chinese, please provide the English title, English abstract, and English keywords (3-5) at the end of the entire text.

  1. 論文摘要字數以300個字為限。The abstract should not exceed 300 words.
  2. 請於113819日(一)前繳交論文全文。Please submit the full paper by August 19, 2024 (Mon.).
