【活動】TEEMI 平台功能介紹暨線上交流會TEEMI Platform Feature Introduction and Online Exchange Session

2 月 12 日，國立臺灣師範大學團隊以線上方式向國際學院教師介紹其研發之 TEEMI 相關系統。會中重點說明三項核心功能，包含 TEEMI 口說與寫作平台、TEEMI-Bot 對話機器人，以及 EMI Screening 英語能力快篩測驗。相關系統提供口說與寫作即時回饋機制、低壓力英語對話練習環境，並透過模擬正式測驗情境進行能力評量，可依 CEFR 標準提供能力分級結果。

與會教師亦就平台之評分機制、客製化應用、技術架構及操作設定等面向提出意見與詢問，並普遍認為該平台有助於提升學生英語表達能力，可作為 EMI 課程之前置能力篩選及教學設計之輔助工具，對其於教學現場之多元應用展現高度興趣。後續將持續評估平台導入與合作之可行性，作為未來教學與學習支持之參考。

On February 12, the team from National Taiwan Normal University delivered an online introduction of the TEEMI system they have developed to faculty members of the College of International Studies. The presentation focused on three core components: the TEEMI Speaking and Writing Platform, the TEEMI-Bot conversational chatbot, and the EMI Screening English proficiency quick assessment. These systems provide immediate feedback on speaking and writing performance, offer a low-pressure environment for English dialogue practice, and assess learners’ language proficiency through simulations of formal testing scenarios. Proficiency results are reported in alignment with the CEFR framework.

During the discussion, faculty participants raised questions regarding the platform’s scoring mechanisms, customization options, technical framework, and operational settings. Participants generally agreed that the platform has strong potential to enhance students’ English communication skills and to serve as a supportive tool for EMI course readiness screening and instructional design. The feasibility of future collaboration and platform implementation will continue to be evaluated as part of ongoing efforts to support teaching and learning.
