【活動】以語言開展運動的國際視野: 運動選手英日語能力培訓與分級機制合作會議 Enhancing Athletes’ Global Outlook Through Language: Collaborative Meeting on English and Japanese Proficiency Training and Assessment

In light of the university's existing collaboration foundation with the National Sports Training Center, the Competitive Athletics Division of the Kaohsiung Sports Development Bureau visited the university on December 15, during which both parties met in Room Z1211 to discuss the feasibility of collaborating on an English and Japanese language proficiency assessment for Kaohsiung's athletes. The meeting was attended by the university's two Vice Presidents, along with the Deans of the College of International Culture, Education, and Foreign Affairs and the College of European and Asian Languages, as well as administrators and faculty members from English- and Japanese-related departments. Both sides exchanged views on the planning of the language proficiency assessment mechanism, training content and potential modes of cooperation, with the hope that cross-unit collaboration may support athletes in strengthening their English and Japanese communication skills and further enhancing their international engagement and global outlook.

有鑑於本校與國家運動訓練中心之合作基礎，高雄市運動發展局競技運動科於 12 月 15 日蒞校拜訪，雙方於 Z1211 會議室就高雄市運動選手英語與日語語言能力分級作業之合作可行性進行會談。會議由本校兩位副校長出席，並有國際學院與歐亞學院院長、英語及日語相關單位主管與授課教師共同與會。會中雙方就語言能力分級機制之規劃與實施方式，以及未來合作模式進行意見交流，期望透過跨單位合作，協助運動選手強化英、日語溝通能力，進一步提升其國際交流能力與國際視野。
