Cultural Heritage X AI Creation: Reimagining Tradition with AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the ways we understand and express culture. This month’s cultural corner event invites students to select a traditional cultural element—such as a festival, costume, cuisine, architecture, music, dance, story, or craft—and reinterpret it through the use of AI tools to create a modern expression.

Around the world, AI-powered exhibitions, concerts, digital art shows, and interactive experiences are demonstrating the innovative fusion of technology and tradition. By exploring AI creative tools, students can discover new methods of cultural storytelling and expand their creative horizons.

Prize Quiz:
Please select a traditional cultural element, briefly introduce its background and features, and create an AI-generated work that reflects the chosen cultural theme (e.g., image, video, music, story, poster, digital exhibition, or interactive experience).

You must write at least 80 words to share your creative concept, the creation process, and the insights or challenges you encountered while using AI for cultural reinterpretation, and include a hyperlink (or any cloud storage) to your AI-generated work as part of your submission.
Please do not copy text from the activity description or directly from any AI tool.

Important Information:

1. Please submit your response at https://reurl.cc/E6aXYa no later than May 15.
2. From the participating schools, up to three outstanding submissions may be selected from each school, but awards may be left vacant if no entries meet the required standards. Each selected submission will receive a 200 NT-dollar voucher.
3. If the winner is not a Wenzaorian, the voucher will be sent to your school's International College.
4. The result will be announced by the end of May on the college website of Wenzao.
