Students from Department of English Excel at AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2023 in Bangkok

In a display of exceptional talent and prowess, four Wenzoarian students (許O傑, 楊O涵, 詹O言, 林O瑜) from Department of English (the Five-Year Junior College), made their mark on the global stage by participating in the AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2023 held in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 22.

Outshining competitors from 11 countries and regions, competing against 24 teams including those from esteemed institutions like the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and Thailand's Thammasat University, these Wenzoarian students secured a total of three awards (The Best Powerpoint Presentation Award, The Best Presenter Awards and Special Recognition Awards), highlighting their well-rounded talents.

The achievement stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, as well as the support provided by the Department of English, particularly, Dr. Wu, the Chair of the department. Their success serves as an inspiration for aspiring students and underscores the excellence of Taiwanese representation on the international stage.

英文系學生在曼谷舉辦的2023年亞洲會展青年挑戰賽中表現傑出

本校五專部英文科四位學生(許O傑、楊O涵、詹O言、林O瑜)於11月22日參加在泰國曼谷舉行的2023年亞洲會展青年挑戰賽(AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2023)，在世界舞台上展現卓越的才華。

在與來自 11 個國家和地區的 24 支代表隊（包括來自香港中文大學、新加坡南洋理工大學和泰國 Thammasat 大學等知名學府的代表隊）的競賽中，這些文藻的學生脫穎而出，共獲得三個獎項（最佳 Powerpoint 簡報獎、最佳主持人獎和特別表揚獎），彰顯了他們的全面才能。

他們的成績證明了學生們的努力和貢獻，以及英文系，特別是系主任吳教授的支持。他們的成功是對有抱負的學生的鼓舞，並強調台灣在國際舞台上的卓越代表。
