英國語文系林文川主任訪問美國美國德州大學達拉斯分校(University of Texas at Dallas)亞洲中心，洽談海外實習與跨國遠距課程合作事宜。接著至芝加哥DePaul大學參加第24屆IAICS國際研討會(The 24th International Conference of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies)並發表論文，論文題目為「The Development of Intercultural Competence and Foreign Language Learning through Online Exchange: Taiwanese Students' Experiences」。最後前往維吉尼亞聯邦大學(Virginia Commonwealth University)進行移地研究。(107.7.2–106.7.16)
