The College of English and International Studies is the only college in the country that integrates educational resources in the academic disciplines of English studies, translation and interpreting, international business administration, and international affairs. The College comprises the following academic units, offering six undergraduate and four graduate programs:

  •  Graduate Institute of Multilingual Translation and Interpreting (MA)
  •  Graduate Institute of International Business and Intercultural Management (MBA)
  •  Master's Degree Program in International Affairs (MA)
  •  Department of English (MA, BA)
  •  Department of Translation and Interpreting (BA)
  •  Department of International Affairs (BA)
  •  Department of International Business and Administration (IBA)
  •  Bachelor's Degree Program in International Business English (BA)
  •  Bachelor's Degree Program in International Tourism and MICE (BA)
  •  Center for English Language Teaching  

 

The College strives to be a significant contributor to the development of society and the individual. It seeks to establish itself as a composite model that emphasizes foreign language skills, professional expertise, and liberal education. To implement its features, the College:

  •  Offers a sound foundation in the liberal arts for the whole-person development.
  •  Designs and implements courses and programs to help students develop international perspectives and foreign language skills.
  •  Provides excellent learning experiences that help students acquire knowledge and skills needed for their professional preparation and growth.  
  •  Integrates human and academic resources across the academic units within the College to realize the composite educational goal.
  •  Develops productive links with public and private business sectors to enhance the applications of research carried out in the College.
  •  Emphasizes practical experience and student-oriented learning, including internships, service learning, study abroad programs, research projects, graduation projects, various extracurricular activities, and the like.
  •  Strives for greater integration among the credit and degree programs available through the College.  
  •  Develops students spiritually and prepare them for success in the highly competitive world in light of the moto “Revere the divine and love the human.”
